I love Maxfields!!!The food is great and so are the staff!!!
Best Shrimp I've ever ate !! Very nice waitress staff. Would have liked either signs on the buffet to tell me what some of the food selections were or someone there to ask. Resturant is outdated, but very big and relaxing. Far to travel, but may go back on a special occasion. Loved the seafood chowder !!!!!!

Well, unfortunately just had my last meal at Maxfields people. Everyone who knows me know how much I love crab legs and I go to Maxfields regularly. But today was the last straw. With a table of six adults, and two children one 4 years old one just turned one and still eating baby food, we were charged 12.00 for the one year old for playing with crab legs, yep he put the shell in his mouth a couple of times, then I ate the meat inside, when I explained this to the waitress she said no I saw him eating crab legs, no he ate tw... read more
Had lunch there today was a little disappointed when the lady carried a dog into the restaurant.. I could see if it was a service dog and being allowed in but the lady carried the dog in and sat it down in the booth and went and got her food!! Little grossed out for a restaurant that supposed to have higher standards!!
Food is fresh, delicious. Service and atmosphere are excellent. Can't be beat!!!
