I enjoyed meeting Dr Bertechevsky and found him to be knowledgeable about my condition and what was causing my pain. After reviewing my MRI and discussing that surgery wasn't an option for me at this time, he referred me to a Dr who might be able to give me some nonsurgical intervention and relief. I'm grateful for his advice and the referral. I recommend Dr Bertichevsky without hesitation.
In November, I started having pain in my left leg. We just finished a big painting project so we figured I had sprained or pulled a muscle. The pain continued to get worse. I went to my PCP and we thought I had sciatica, she ordered an x-ray. That was inconclusive and the pain was getting worse. She referred me to Dr. B. who urged me to get an MRI, which I did. Excellent! Thorough Takes time to get all images needed. I am confident he will get me out of pain
I had an L4-L5 fusion 3 weeks ago and it could not have gone better. My recovery has already come along faster than I expected, and although I'm still filling a fair bit of discomfort around the surgery site, the firey pain down my leg from the pinched nerve is completely gone. No numbness, no tingling, just a normal leg. Don't bother going to Tucson - the best surgeon is right here in Cochise County.
