I'd just like to point out that Albert is an extremely rude employee.. I am not sure who he thinks he is or who I am for that matter but extremely unprofessional & immature. Do not bring you car to Mavis in Whiting RT70. They will lie break your car make it worse then when brought in.. They screwed up so much I had to tell them stop. I had to bring to Nissan to fix everything the attempted to fix...
I would have to say watch out for these crooks hit the nail right on the head. Made the mistake of sending my wife for two tires since I was at work. They were advertised at 109.99 ea. She called to say that they wanted to do everything under the sun and bill would be almost $900.00. I told her to tell them to just put on the tires. I got home to a $460.00 bill and a broken valve they said was caused by the car wash. Watch out for these crooks. Each time I purchased tires or had an oil change, they told me that my car needed additional expensive work, sometimes urgent and safety-related. I declined each time and took my car straight to my regular mechanic who told me that my car did not at all need the work that Mavis of Great Neck had tried to sell me.
Over Charged – Bought tires from Tire Rack and had them shipped to Marvis Tire in Great Neck. When I went to have them installed they over charged me. Total to install 4 tires was $173.70! Ouch!! When I complained they told me"we have to make money too" RIPE OFF!! NEVER AGAIN
BE CAREFUL – HAD BRAKES REPAIRED AND WAS UNABLE TO STOP MY VEHICLE. THATS WHY THEY CHARGE SUCH LOW PRICES. LATER FOUND OUT THAT THE PEOPLE WORKING ON THE CARS WERE NOT REAL MECHANICS. WILL DEFINATELY NOT RETURN TO ANY MAVIS LOCATION. HAD VISITED THEIR OTHER LOCATION IN WESTBURY AND WAS TREATED POORLY BY A SUPERVISOR OF THE COMPANY
