When the hospital doctor says the words: “your dad is ready for hospice” a whirlwind of emotions feel like you’re drowning and can’t breathe. On Sept 26, 2025 my dad earned the status of being a hospice patient and my first gut reaction was to call Maverick Home Health. By 9 pm 9-26-25 my dad came home and so did Maverick Hospice.
