I think Maverick Animal Clinic is awesome. We had to let our dog go today. They did not take advantage of us during a sorrowful time. They were kind, professional and caring and I will never forget how gentle and compassionate they were to both my dog and family. Thank you for helping us during this difficult time.
Great place to go but the wait will be long. You have to have patience because they see a lot of animals. 3 vets at the clinic.
You may have to wait awhile, since they do not make appointments, but the service is wonderful. All the folks who work there are competent, caring people. And the veterinary care is great. Dr. Sleeper just pulled two puppies belonging to me and my daughter through a life threatening illness.
They were able to take my cat in when other vets could not or would not for whatever reason. They are very efficient and cost-effective professional fun and loving and I fully recommend them to anyone who is looking for good affordable care for their Pet...my cat Soren thanks you too :-)
Besides being very affordable, they really care about the pets they treat and the doctors and staff are very friendly. I would not take my fur babies anywhere else. The drive is worth it!
As busy as they are they always make sure your fur babies get the care they need I don't mind waiting because they are friendly and very caring!

I agree with everyone else. My dog Uno had such a bad seizure to the point that I thought I was going to have to put him down because he couldn't walk anymore. Dr. Jenkins advised me not to give up because sometimes seizures could put pressure on his back. She gave him two injections of steroids and antibiotics. Also meds to take home. It cost me under 100.00. That was unbelievable to me. She said,"To give it a few days and if he wasn't trying to walk to bring him back next week." Guess what?? Went for the first time yesterday. It is first come, first serve, so plan to get there early and wait a bit. Even with one vet in the office, she took the time needed to assess and treat my cat. The problem was quite unusual and I'm not sure other low-cost clinics would have gone so far to identify the cause of my cat's problems. Absolutely outstanding service! Front desk people were also friendly and efficient. It is a bit of a drive from the northside, but worth it.
