Left the interstate with my motor home and tow car to treat my wife and I at Maurice's BBQ. It was labor day. I would advise closing on labor day. Unless it has gotten this bad on a regular basis.
I ordered wings and ribs and I received what I think is pulled pork and ribs. I went through the drive through so I didn’t check the bag before I arrived home. They said it was an up charge for the wings too so I’m a little upset.
Old timers so it's not like it used to be. The fries were not good at all. The Little Joe was good with extra Maurice BBQ sauce it was a little dry. The counter person warmed up adventually but not a friendly demeanor lol Still love the Maurice BBQ; stop when coming through the area.
Good portion sizes for the money, ribs are tender, juicey and delicious, the bbg beans were so good.
Im lowering my rating, pulled pork is not the same ( 4 trips here since the fire, 5 to other locations) its missing the nice clean smoked flavor it use to have. That being said today was made worse by being served bbq drowned in mustard sauce, i asked the lady if i could get some more without being drowned in sauce and she acted clueless. I told her ive never been served pulled pork here with so much sauce on it and would like a reorder, she went to the kitchen and never came back.
