Corey has cut my hair for over 18 years, and when it was time to start covering grey he took the time to educate me about color. He is professional, respectful and always a pleasure to spend time with. When I was traveling last summer for several months he took the time to detail the color formula he uses on me so I could find a Kevin Murphy salon to have my hair cut and colored. Corey is the definition of going above and beyond for his clients. Cannot recommend him enough!
If I could give no stars I would. Corey did a terrible job on my friends hair and refused to make it right, treated both of us horribly (never had customer service so poor). He made promises of what he could do and when he couldn’t deliver, could not handle the criticism. Never in my life dealt with someone more unprofessional truly. I am extremely disappointed with the way Corey handled my friend’s hair appointment and the situation afterward. This service was a Christmas gift that cost $340, and my friend left the salon in tears. She went in wanting a lighter color, and Corey recommended highlights instead. Unfortunately, the highlights did not turn out well and were nothing like what she was hoping for. On top of that, the cut was not what she asked for at all. Corey has been my stylist for over a decade. He is attentive and creative. I love the Tress Chic location and the beautiful space Corey creates for his clients. But quite frankly, I’ll go to any location Corey Fast is at. Perhaps most importantly is his ability to communicate effectively what is possible. My hair went from brunette to red to blonde and as anyone that has color treated hair knows these are challenging but fun and exciting transitions. Corey’s experience pays off. I love my hair!
