Overpriced for the condition. Was looking forward to this round of golf since booking it a few months back. There was no notice of bunker work going on or Aeration of fairways which was just a start. Overall Course was not well kept and most fairways were in terrible condition from 100 yards in. Great views and interesting and challenging layout but not worth the $$$ for the condition. Head pro did comp my rental clubs when I gave feedback post round. I'd check on condition before booking.
We had an outstanding experience at Mauna Kea; the service was great, the course was in perfect shape and the views were beautiful. Yes, it is pricey but not really out of line for a resort course.
Stunningly beautiful! Do not leave there without trying The Portuguese Donuts served in The Copper Bar! Wow!
