Dr. Thielen is an excellent surgeon. His staff are knowledgeable and professional. My experience with bilateral knee replacement surgery was very good from the beginning of the process to after surgery.
I had my second hip replacement using this surgeon. After the hip replacement I was in a great deal of pain not like my first one that had me walking to my plane. This guy took 7mm to much bone off and put the prosthesis in crooked. I then went to Dr Rovensky to correct the mistake. But after 2 years I still can't walk in Target.
I had knee replacement surgery by Dr. Thielen and his crack team at Maui Orthopedic Institute on Dec 3. I had bone on bone and was in considerable pain and discomfort. Dr. Thielen gave me a cortisone shot several months prior to surgery. The first miracle he performed. His outstanding staff gave me clear and thorough pre-op instructions. Great experience with hip replacement. The staff is friendly and easy to communicate with. Dr. Thielen answered all of my questions and explained options for my issue. His surgery team was excellent. They helped me through the process from start to finish. I'd highly recommend them.
