Couldn’t be more satisfied with the results of my hip replacement. Dr Thielen outlined the process of my procedure and my recovery and everything he told me went exactly as he said. The surgery and healing process were easier than I could have imagined. I went from living in pain with every step to pain free long walks , riding my bike and up and down stairs with ease! All within a couple months. The receptionists and office staff were excellent as well.Nothing but high praise and thanks to Maui Orthopedic Institute 🤙

Dr Thielen is at the top of his profession. I had anterior right hip replacement in April. I was walking with a cane at home within 10 days and not using a cane in the bathroom and kitchen. Shortly after that I was walking without a cane at home. No pain! No limp! I would give Dr. Thielen a 10 star if I could. I highly recommend him. I am in my late seventies. His PA Emily was a disappointment as she did not always do what she said she would do - call in prescriptions for example and did not respond to several phone calls. S... read more

Dr. Thielen is an excellent surgeon. His staff are knowledgeable and professional. My experience with bilateral knee replacement surgery was very good from the beginning of the process to after surgery.

I had my second hip replacement using this surgeon. After the hip replacement I was in a great deal of pain not like my first one that had me walking to my plane. This guy took 7mm to much bone off and put the prosthesis in crooked. I then went to Dr Rovensky to correct the mistake. But after 2 years I still can't walk in Target.
