Beyond Imaginable! While the Maui Ocean Center is small, it is uniquely designed and well worth the cost. Ticket prices are $20 per adult and $13 for children ages 13 and up. Seniors ages 65 and up would only pay $17 per person. Maui Ocean Center is divided into two exhibits: Living Reef and Open Ocean. Everything you see at the Maui Ocean Center is alive and from Hawaii. Our favorite part at the Maui Ocean Center was the Tunnel located in the Open Ocean exhibit. You walk through a 54-foot see-through tunnel where youre surr... read more

Want to take an up close and personal look at what you swam by? The Maui Ocean Center isn't cheap, but it gives you a good return for what you paid by packaging education and fun. Here you will get to take a close look at Maui's marine life, what might have seen or what might have seen you when you were in the water. Kids and adults alike love "the tunnel" and it really is a not to be missed experience.

Great for visitors and locals The Maui Ocean Center is a great place when you want to have the kids do something educationa and they want to do something that's fun. They never lose interest, because there is so much to see and do. They especially enjoy going through the tunnel where you are surrounded by water and local marine life.

Maui Ocean Center Aquarium Maui Ocean Center is a fun and educational attraction for all ages. It's a great way to get to know the fish and other marine before you go snorkeling. We took our kids there, and we thought that they would be the ones enjoying it, but we were surprised at how much fun WE were having... it also has a great gift store with tons of surprises as well as a kid-friendly restaurant with good food, not the usual amusement park hot dogs. Next time we come to Maui, we're going to get scuba certified so we c... read more

Well designed aquarium, great for young kids The Maui Ocean Center is well worth a visit and has a very good mix of exhibits both inside and out. My favorite is the honu (green turtle) pond where you can get up close and see the turtles being fed. There is also an amazing tunnel you can walk through and see sharks swimming all around you. The size of the aquarium is just right for young children as they can see all the exhibits without tiring out. Two other unexpected surprises at the aquarium are the gift shop and restauran... read more

Awesome Hammerhead Sharks After a few great days at the beach we'd thought we'd mix it up a little and head over to the aquarium. Overall the Maui Ocean Center is a great place to take the kids. It's a bit dinky but there are two great fish tanks that make it worth while. The final tank with the 8 ft. tiger shark, hammerheads and huge rays is incredible. It's one of the best collections of fish I have seen in an aquarium. And hold onto your hat -- this is one of the windiest spots on the island.

Maui Ocean Center If you love fish, you will love Maui Ocean Center! Go here and bring your whole family, this place is actually pretty educational for the little ones. You can even touch animals here, which is pretty awesome. This tourist attraction, if you can call it that, is actually pretty expensive. My favorite part of the center was the turtle pool.
