As the founder of Joycoast (a sustainable lifestyle brand creating handcrafted wooden watches and sunglasses) I travel frequently for work. I recently stayed at the Maui Coast Hotel in Kihei and will absolutely be back. The staff was exceptional from day one. I called before check-in with questions about Super Bowl watch spots, acai bowls, and local restaurants – they were incredibly helpful with all of it. Really liked the room. Well laid out with the Keirig, mini-fridge, microwave. Love the location right by the beach with a saltwater pool, a regular pool, and multiple hot tubs. Fitness facility is open 24 hours and there is a sushi restaurant and a caffe adjacent to the hotel. The staff is by far the nicest and most helpful I have experienced in a very long time.
Great hotel close to some great food and beaches. Very clean and accommodating with a gym, pools, gear room (where you can grab beach towels, bags, coolers, beach chairs, etc. - make sure you return them), discounted ev charging station, and the staff was so friendly and helpful Leigh was great in answering all of our questions.
This is a nice hotel with very nice rooms and in an excellent location. It is light on amenities - no room service, for instance. Given the location across the street from a beach and in walking distance from all kinds of food and entertainment option, I think it is a very good option. If you want good restaurants, room service and so on, it may not be the best fit.
Nice hotel. The room is clean and new, with big TV screen. The cafe with is also have decent brunch.
