Dr. Maughn turned what is usually a pretty harrowing experience into a pleasant one. He was knowledgable, professional, and explained everything very well. He had a great sense of humor, and most importantly, there was no pain! His office staff was also very friendly and helpful. It would be difficult to imagine a better periodontal experience. Highly recommended.

I had a good experience. Dr Maughan was very nice. My teeth were cleaner than they have ever been after my visit.

After years of trying diligently to fend off a genetic predisposition to gum disease, my dentist suggested a laser procedure to prevent things from getting worse. Knowing what pain and agony my sister went through several years ago, I reluctantly made and kept the appt. with Dr. Maughan. He verified that the wise decision was to schedule laser surgery...twice, for once side of my mouth and one week later for the other side. Great experience, despite the fact I having a tooth extracted. Dr. Maughan is very knowledgeable, detail minded, willing to answer questions, and really makes sure nothing hurts. Great office too.
