Months ago I began asking about my gift cards to his other business connected to Mauer called DVine Med Spa. Jan the manager preceded to string me along, lie, spin and deflect. They have literally scammed people. Dr Mauer worth millions has done clients dirty. He and his newer wife also a Doctor are preceding to rip us all off and move to FL and work there. Would you trust anyone who does business this way. Horrible people. Horrible business.
Dr Mauer is choosing to abruptly close the doors to his dvine medical spa without notice to all customers to use their giftcards and he will not reimburse or repay for all the $$ left on our cards. My last 2 appts there were canceled by him. Therefore I would have used the $. SEVERAL former customers are left with $ he will not give us back. if you are in need of a good eye doctor I would recommend Dr. Mauer at Mauer eye Center in Waterloo.
Service. Because of Iowa's stupid insurance , and I mean stupid, they are not helpful at all about getting your records, and I mean your property, to another doctor for continuity of care. And if you live 50 miles away, and it's difficult for you to get places, they don't care.Even though you have been with the company for at least 10 years.
Have had too many issues the last year there.. Too many to type every single one in this post..
They are very thorough in my exam. Friendly staff
