I struggle with Crohn’s disease and was hospitalized and went through many complications, one of which I developed a fistula that caused my bladder to have a stubborn hole that wouldnt heal. I got the run around from doctors, and I was stuck with a catheter for almost a year. It was the most depressing time of my life, I was miserable. Dr. Carmel was supposed to be assisting my sister with an injury she suffered in a fall at work. Their first appointment was via a teleconference, in which Dr. Carmel stated "in her opinion" she didn't see how the fall could have caused my sister's injury. Dr. Carmel did physically examine my sister a couple of weeks later and scheduled her for surgery. She is amazing and bright Dr, I was so very lucky to have found her. She cared for me like no other Dr. she listens to you and follows up with you completely. I highly recommend her. If you are having urology issues make an appointment. Their might be a wait but she is worth it. I was so blessed to have found her. A doctor and soooo smart and never made me feel weird for all my questions or concerns. Amazing doctor….
