I just heard “Chicken Fried” on the radio and reminded me of an amazing birthday I had at Matt‘s Saloon where the band played that song for me t o help celebrate my day. The owners are fantastic, friendly, and so much fun! This is where I learned how to Texas Two Step and really got to love a country bar.

While visiting Prescott from San Antonio Texas we walked down to have a drink at Matt’s. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Hoyt was tending bar and greeted us warmly. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with Hoyt. He made sure we had a pleasant evening. If you’re in Prescott pop over to Matt’s Saloon, enjoy a few beers and say hey to Hoyt! -Two tourists from San Antonio

Great people...we stopped in on way home to Phoenix area from camping in Camp Verde... local hang out with potluck spread and everybody welcomed us and fed us!! Thank you Prescott community! Thank you Matt’s Saloon owners and staff! 👍🏻❤️
