My star rating has nothing to do with her medical ability, the the problem is her business practices. About 4 years ago i had to declare bankruptcy and part of that was a 70 dollar balance we owed to Dr Mathews. It was written off in the chapter 7. Last week I called to make a appointment for a eye exam,and the receipt told me I had to pay my balance. This is illegal for them to do so. Outstanding doctor and caring and compassionate staff. Highly recommend her.
Have been going to Dr. Matthews for quite a few years now. She is the best! Have I had to wait a long time when I go in to see her? Yes, but she is well worth the wait. The long wait is because she never turns down a patient who is an emergency. Knowing that I can count on her to be there for me if I ever need to see her for an emergency is huge. I love her energy and her compassion and her knowledge.
