DR. MATTHEWS HAS AN EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER. HE THOROUGHLY LISTENS AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING, AND GIVES YOU OPTIONS IF THERE ARE ANY. I LOVVVE DR. MATTHEWS. HE'S THE FIRST DOC IN YRZZZZ, THT DIDN'T RUSH ME ALONG IN MY APPT WITH HIM. AND FOLLOW UPS WERE EXACTLY THE SAME. I'VE VISITED WITH DR. MATTHEWS AT BOTH CARE WELL IN EAST ORANGE, NJ. AS WELL AS HIS OFFICE IN BLOOMFIELD, NJ.

I was a patient of his in East Orange for around 13 years and he's done all my surgeries... I really miss him as my doctor. He takes the time to understand his patients, also fights for their rights. Best Orthopedic Doctor/Surgeon EVER!!! Miss You Doctor Matthews

Staff unprofessional waited four hrs past my appointment time while later patient seen ahead of me.Was treated with indifferences by staff and dr Mathews.Had police called on me after not being seen for four hours.

Dr. Matthews does it all, and accepts Medicaid. He is worth the wait times for Medicaid patients like me. He's helpful, listens, and can work on almost every area of the skeletal system. You'll have to push your case through the Medicaid bureaucracy but it's worth it.
