been a customer for 20 years. theyre the only opinion I trust for the wide variety of vehicles ive owned. kept me safe for 2 decades!! ive moved 45 minutes away from front royal and they are still my shop.

They were great! Dropped off my car, they offered me a ride to somewhere local (as it was starting to rain). Fixed my horrible front press on wheel bearings (I'm sure this took almost all day) and cost was reasonable. I'm very happy I went there! Thank you.
My car broke down in front of another garage and I had it towed to Matthew's. I won't go anywhere else. Great people and fair prices. Old fashioned take care of people with kindness and courtesy attitude. Justin is one in a million.
I worked at a car dealership in the service department a while back and saw first hand just how the car business gets such a bad reputation. Due to that I'm very leery. I was told that my truck needed some work to pass inspection and the price I was quoted seemed WAY out of line. I asked around and was told by several sources that Matthews is THE place to go.
