I had hernia surgery by Dr Smith recently. Everything went extremely well. The care from him and his staff was amazing. I highly recommend 10 out of 10
Dr. Smith performed surgery on my husband today and he did an outstanding job. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He thoroughly explained every detail of the procedure pre-op, answered all of our questions and met with me immediately after the surgery to review it and again answer all of my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a surgical procedure.
Dr. Smith performed robotic surgery for my husband's hernia repair successfully. He explained the procedure so we knew what to expect during and after. He came out to tell me it was a success right after it was completed. While I hope life keeps us from needing surgery again, if we need it, we would go to Dr. Smith again.
You can't ask for a better surgeon than Dr Smith. He was highly recommended by my primary care physician. Like I told him, my hernia surgery was easier than my dentist appointment. They treated me with amazing care and made sure I was informed of everything thing i needed to know about before, during, and after surgery care. Also, Baptist South is a top notch hospital with easy parking and simple directions will get you where you need to be. I've been to every hospital in Jacksonville and none compare.
