I have just recently become a patient of Dr. Dowell's. On my first visit, he had obviously reviewed my rather voluminous history which impressed me. I was very nervous, having seen my previous physician for 20 years. He was very friendly and professional. He also took plenty of time with me to calm me down. On my second visit, I was much more calm. He ordered lab work for me. I was pleased that he responded to my lab work on the web site as soon as the results were posted. I think Dr. Dowell is awesome!
I've been seeing Dr. Dowell for probably ten years. I hope my insurance never excludes him because he's the best general practitioner I've ever seen.
Dr. Dowell exhibits the very best as a family physician. We are so thankful for him and his thorough, kind, highly capable care of us.
Was rude, didn't listen to complaints, accused of making up symptoms, ran tests with no plan for them changing his treatment so basically putting the patient at risk and wasting their money with no intent for it changing treatment. Guy was a jerk.
Does not give feedback or follow up with lab information unless you call and beg for someone to explain results to you.
