Read reviews before you see him. I sure wish I had! Before moving to this area, I worked for another orthopedic practice so I have some knowledge of how things work. First, do not start by berating the patient for their weight. We know when we need to lose a few pounds. Second, do not speak to the patient like they are stupid. We are not. Doctor Baltz saved two of my summers with correct shoulder treatment. He's my man!
I’ve had the misfortunate pleasure of meeting this Dr after a complete distal bicep rupture. He was assuring and attentive. He pushed orders through quickly and had me in surgery within 2 weeks of meeting him. I appreciate the office and staff and the care they provided. They were helping in beyond ways. The surgery went well and I am very humble to have my bicep back!!! I am 21 days post op and really can’t complain. Very professional and I would recommend his services and care!
Dr. Baltz is dismissive, condescending and walked out of room while I was speaking. He was defensive that we were getting a second opinion, which is our right.
If I could give him zero stars I would, I complained of neck and bad shoulder pain and he sent me to PT without any testing done he later sent me for an MRI and I have 2 bulging discs in my cervical spine, I asked him to send me for an MRI of my right shoulder because it has been crunching and popping constantly. He is plain RUDE and talks to you like you have no clue about how YOU feel.
