Dr. Matthew C. Pearl and his team at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic, Sugarland, did an excellent job with my hip replacement (12/19/2024), no walking distance is too long for me now! From his initial assessment, the great surgery, (no pain anymore as of same surgery day!), feeling accompanied at all moments, well guided and trained by Dr. DPT Anthony J. Albarran till ongoing follow up medical checks - so glad I did it with him!
If I could give zero I would. Completely uninterested in my issues. Have had hip pain for years and all he said to do was stretch. I stretch my hips every single day and clearly it isn’t working which is why I made the appointment in the first place. Felt like he was just trying to get rid of me instead of hear me out. Really upset that I wasted time and money to just be told to stretch.
Dr Pearl is wonderful. My previous surgeon retired so Dr Pearl just did my other knee replacement. After reading his bio and my initial appointment I felt totally confident in my decision. His staff are very friendly and Dr Pearl is easy to talk to and I am at total ease with him. I follow up with him in 4 weeks. By then my new knee is going to feel great I have no doubt. I highly recommend him.
