I wanted a stylist who would listen to what I wanted (not just do what they want), and would give me an easy to maintain, beautiful cut. That's exactly what Matt does. A beautiful precise cut that is easy to deal with and gets all kinds of compliments (even from other stylists). Thank you, Matt!!
I started going to Matt during highschool (I'm now in college), and I definately recommend him! I have fine, curly hair, which was quite long when I started going to him. He's very good at talking you through what will or will not work for your hair and why. For example, my hair isn't super thick, so I can't pull off as many layers unless I were to go shorter to avoid it looking scraggly.
