Since moving in on Dec 1, we’ve dealt with repeated major issues that made the unit uncomfortable and not fully livable. The bedroom window doesn’t seal properly so cold air enters, the pantry has not been fixed, the stove doesn’t work properly because parts don’t work well, and the only heat source provided was a small space heater that only warms the living room. at some point, the kitchen also flooded. My move-out and transfer experience with Avenue Living was very disappointing. We moved to another unit within the same building and received extremely poor service throughout the process. First, we were placed in an apartment where the cooker did not work, and we were unable to cook for three days. One of the rooms had a broken window in the middle of winter, and it was ignored until we pushed for it to be addressed. Only live at this place if you want to stay in dark. This place has no lights in bedrooms. Not a single one. Have lights in passage and washroom . It’s a common practice to have light connections or at least provide any lamps. If you can nit do this at least let the tenant know that you are not going to provide anything. It’s my first and going to be my last experience with avenue living. Will not recommend this to anyone.
