Dr. Lublin repaired my umbilical hernia two weeks ago. Everything went perfectly. Only one small stitch inside of my navel, and I never needed any pain medication at all! He was able to do the repair and insert the mesh through my naval, so no scars at all. I just saw him for the two week follow up, and everything is perfect. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you need hernia surgery, he is the one to see!
I was in as an emergency; Dr. Lublin took time and patience to wait for radiology reports and then have them repeated as he observed and did not rush me into repeat surgery. He consulted with my initial surgeon at another institution coordinating my inn-hospital stay. I am home, no repeat surgery,following a LFPB diet and doing well as I passed my one year anniversary. Thank you for your education, kindness and my good health.
Dr Lublin is a truly excellent surgeon. One of those doctors who inspire complete confidence and comfort. He Achieved a complicated surgery to repair a large hiatal hernia with esophageal involvement that had caused me a lifetime of acid reflux. The surgery went great, I had next to no pain and I believe the process was pretty near flawless. Am currently at week five post surgery and feeling very much better than I have in years. Dr. Lublin's Office would not schedule surgery in network at St. Johns Medical Center but pushed to schedule surgery at an out of network surgical center. My cost would have been substantially more because there is no UnitedHealthcare contract with out of network providers. Would not recommend this Health provider.
The entire experience from beginning to end was above and beyond any expectations. Complete concierge experience. Everything went exactly as Dr Lublin described how it would occur. The surgery was performed with absolute perfection. Within days of my surgery I was back to my original self. No pain medication required. Dr. Matthew Lublin is a highly skilled surgeon and made me feel completely at ease. I had my gallbladder removed and my recovery was exactly as he described. Surgery Thursday - back in the office on Monday. He followed up after my surgery and was great during my post operation follow up appointment. I would recommend him to anyone.
