I have 30 years medical experience and I have never had a surgeon come to waiting area and ask why are you here and what my condition was after looking at disc of tests preformed for back and brain. He proceeded to tell me he didn't do aneurysms and if I wanted to leave I could and if I wanted to talk with him further I could but he could not give me any recommendations??? This was my first visit to Dr. Kern. I was wowed! First, when I called to make a new patient visit, I was given an appointment for less than a week away. When I arrived at the office and signed in the staff was amazingly quick and polite. As soon as I finished my paperwork I was called back to a room! When Dr. Kern came into the room only minutes later I knew that I had made a great choice concerning which doctor to see for my spinal problems. I can't recommend this doctor and his staff enough!
This is by far the best experience I've ever had with a doctor and his crew. The entire group of people who work with dr. Kern from the secretary's to the nurses were excellent. I was having horrible lower back pain and could not figure out what was going on. Dr. Kern is very very knowledgeable and figured out what was going on with me when no one else was able too. Dr Kern is a straight shooter when it comes to telling you about what you’re dealing with. But he does it in a professional, and sometimes even funny way (to lighten the mood at times which I love). He’s done two surgeries successfully for me. A fusion on my neck which was above a prior fusion done by another surgeon. His surgery was hands down WAY better! He is the absolute best! Most knowledgeable, talented and caring surgeon I have ever met, he has so much love and care for his patients and truly understands the patient as a person and their desires and sees to it that they receive the very best care from him each and everyday.. love and cherish this man and am blessed to have him take care of all my needs during this very difficult time in my life.
