Too busy, lack of proper care.
Dr. Matthew performed a bunion surgery where the metatarsal bone was broken. I repeatedly returned after it healed complaining it hurt every step I took. He said "look at the xray, the bone is perfect" and then told me to get special shoes. After 3 yrs I saw a different surgeon at Footbridge in Vanc that showed me on xrays that the bone was set on its side (90 degree turned) and tipped downward. He rebroke the bone and corrected it. After getting the run around at Footbridge, it was extremely refreshing to deal with Dr. Matthew and discuss my case. Having an MD and previously having worked as an orthopedic intern, it took all of 5 minutes to discuss my case and concerns with him, before we both agreed that ORIF was the best option. He had me booked in within a few weeks, and to this day I have 0 post operative complications or concerns regarding my pseudo Jones fracture. Thanks again Dr. Matthew, the best in the business.
He was very professional with my knee having baker’s cyst but on my second Visit. After having ultrasound report of tear and impingement in both shoulders, he only wanted to inject steroids. As I have had steroids before the effects don’t last very long on me, thus I said no. Also it only is a bandage not solution and due to the temp.
