Dr. Marano is a wonderful ophthalmologist. The only issue I have is the wait, waiting time is between 2-3 hrs. However, this last appointment wasn't bad, thankfully. Also, everyone is nice.
The staff is very thorough, professional, and courteous. I have been treated by both Dr. Marano and Dr. Decter for many, many years and have always had the best of care. Dr. Marano recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I couldn't be happier with the results.
Dr. Marano treated my poor reaction to glaucoma eye drops with effective medication and two eye procedures. The result was excellent.
My husband had a 10:15 appointment for an infected eye. He was still waiting at 11:30 to be seen and Dr. Marano was not anywhere to be found. He asked the front desk and her response was “we have no idea where the doctor is, he does this every week”. Maybe we should charge them a no show fee. People take time from work and to make people wait is very irresponsible and unprofessional to say the least. We will never be back.
