I SAW DE HENTGES ON DEC.13 FOR A POSR ER VISIT FOR SEVERE ARTHRITIS AND INFLAMMED TENDONS OF BOTH FEET. HIS STAFF WAS ANAZING AND SO WAS HIS RESIDENT. HE WAS KNOWLEDEGAGLE AND GREAT BED SIDE MANNER. DR HENTGES WAS A GREAT SUPRISE TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE HAD SO MANY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH DOCTERS. HE WAS VERY KIND AND GENTLE. HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO DOR MY FEET AND THET FEEK MUCH BETTER NOW. I am 2 months post-op from my bunion surgery and can say that Dr. Hentges and his staff are top notch. Dr Hentges' is very knowledgeable, skilled and patient...his staff is very responsive and made my pre and post op experience as stress free as possible. One of things I liked most is the time he spent with me over a year before I scheduled my surgery, was that he didn't push me...he said you'll know when the time is right. I highly recommend him and his practice

Dr. Hentges is spectacularly talented. It turns out he knows exactly how to treat a Jones fracture, unlike my prior physician up in Indiana PA who apparently does not even know how to read x-rays. Since that time I have recommended others with botched diagnoses, and Dr. Hentges has been right every time. BTW this was a great introduction to the fabulous Allegheny Health Network, and Forbes Hospital is an awesome organization. I recommend Dr. Matthew Hentges at the highest level.
