I recently had surgery to remove an infected lump, and I was fortunate to have Dr. Mathew H. Scriven as my surgeon. He is truly the best in town—very skilled, kind, and friendly. The staff were also excellent and made the whole process smooth and comforting. My surgery went perfectly, and I’m healing quickly with no pain. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Just because this surgeon performs Colonoscopy, does not give him the rights to assume everyone understands what removing a plaque entails in Colonoscopy. Only thing he mentioned to me in front of other people sitting next to me, was that a plaque was removed. Since the procedure is to rule out colon cancer, how about informing me something like, “Ms xxx, great news! You do not have any colon cancer.” Can you guess what he wrote in my chart? Had to have a splinter remove, was able to schedule appointment with Dr. Scriven relatively fast from the day it happened. The entire procedure took about 5 minutes, he was able to retrieve it. Very professional and pleasant.
