I went to Bay Dermatology in St. Pete Beach. The only Doctor available at the time was a PA named Chelsea. She was generous with her time but limited in her knowledge of skin. Chelsea told me I was wearing my shoes too tight which was not my problem. Then she told me to come back two weeks. At that point my problem had worsened.
Dr. Mahoney and staff did a thoroughly professional job in handling my needs as a patient. Scheduling was easy and efficient, and I only waited a very few minutes. Dr. Mahoney gave me a thorough exam, treated me with kindness and explained the procedures and recommended treatment for my condition. I will visit Dr. Mahoney as ofter as necessary, and would go out of my way to see him when needed. He is a skilled Dermatologist with the hands and personality of a true healer!
Wonderful, caring doctor. His staff are wonderful and caring as well. I saw him twice and was dx with Lupus. I moved and was no longer his patient. His nurse still called to follow up with me and see how I was doing. I have never had that experience before and I was deeply touched. I highly recommend Dr. Mahoney.
