Dr. Ewend is by far the best neurosurgeon in NC. He has such a calming affect and is compassionate as well
I suggest you find another Dr. And I would avoid UNC AT ALL COST.
Dr. Ewend: Extraordinary doctor and person. If you are in need of a specialist this is the facility and doctor you need to consult.
Dr. Ewend operated on me back in 1999. I had epilepsy when I was younger due to a cyst on my brain. I went to Chapel Hill for my appointment and met Dr. Ewend and immediately knew this man was going to do the surgery to remove the cyst. He had a calming effect on me and my family. 21 years later I still owe my life to him and God. Thanks Dr. Ewend!!
