Disappointed, frustrated, and angry. I’ve been dealing with functional limitations in my knee for quite some time. Was seen by the musculoskeletal (MSK) team and then referred to orthopedics. Apparently, there’s no place for (or interest in helping) individuals that don’t need surgery but have issues that exceed the scope of the MSK team. Or, perhaps, women in their 60s are supposed to just sit on the sidelines of life until their joints are so degraded that surgery is in order. It is a lovely new facility. Great staff and lots of equipment options.
First, Dr. Beal’s staff was friendly and more than willing to help me solve the problem of getting spine shots sooner rather than two and a half months later. That was above and beyond the call. Dr Beal was open and friendly, forthright and knowledgable, and was clear about everything. Like his staff, he too made sure his staff made a connection to help me get pain medication sooner. I am not used to being treated so well and am grateful.
