Dr. Counihan & Dr. Nottage are the best!! ACL & meniscus repair on my right knee are incredible good. I can walk, swim, ride a bike and almost run after 4 months of surgery... Of course PT is an important part of the recovery.
I had to have hamstring repair. Dr. Counihan was on of the first surgeons who came up in the Hackensack network. Due to scheduling I didn't get to see him right away. Because of an urgent referral I was able to be bumped up on the schedule. He is very calm and really makes an effort that you as the patient understand what has happened why and the potential prognosis to fix your issue. Great staff and Dr. Counihan was amazing. Attentive to my concerns, offering what’s best. No wait, X-rays taken and Dr. review all done within 2 hours.
I am very please with Dr. Counihan. He takes the time to explain eveyrthing fully and he has no problem answering any and all questions.
