I hardly ever leave reviews, but just had an experience so bad that I want to warn others. My young healthy adult husband went to Dr. Earnest with extremely high blood pressure (i.e. frequently in the 170s when he is just resting and not stressed). We went to his primary care doctor, got a referral to this cardiologist, waited weeks to get an appointment, and had to follow up twice only to finally go in today and the doctor literally asked him “what do you want me to do about it?“. Dr Earnest saw my mom in the ER. She had a massive heart attack. She was not coherent when she left our home in the ambulance. Dr Earnest told me when I got to the hospital that mom had given indication that she wanted them to do everything to save her even though she had a DNR. He then asked me if that is what I wanted. I thought it was a weird question. Of course if that is what my mom wanted that’s what I would want! Did he think I would say no? So Dr Earnest took her into the cath lab and put a stent in. Working with a loved one who is under the care of advent, and we have talked with Dr Earnest several times. He is very soft spoken and caring, had a great conversation with my family member and myself to educate us about the health issues he is having. Like another commenter here, I just couldn't imagine having a negative conversation with this individual. He is very patient and compassionate.
i saw this doctor due to irregular heart beat and chest pain. he recommended an echocardiogram and a heart monitor and referred me to a colleague. i was supposed to hear from scheduling about the echo within 3 business days. on the fourth, i called and found out the order was never placed for the echo. later that day i called back to ask if the monitor had ever been ordered since it was supposed to arrive within 1 week and it had been 6 days. they lied to me, and told me that it had been ordered when in fact they only ordere... read more
I never do these but after seeing the poor reviews I felt obligated to do this. Dr Earnest is a very caring doctor. I can’t imagine the negative feedback. I have been very happy with him from day one.
