Today I'm really disappointed in the nursing staff and security guards at Mercy Hospital St Louis. If you love your love ones this not the hospital to take them to. My daughter and I was just put out the ICU(Intensive Care Unit) by people on power struggle, because I asked for pain pill for my daughter. My daughter was on 6 liters of oxygen, pnuemonia, IV antibiotic, sepsis and shortness of breath. Being scheduled for drain placement in right chest. Staff nurse says me asking was aggressive to her. Security showed up and sai... read more

They should change their name to Merciless South. Made the mistake of having open heart surgery there. It was a nightmare. Did I mention someone added stuff to my chart that wasn't true? Patient Relations is a joke. The sad part is that the best primary care doctor is there. Dr. Doerr

Mercy has the worst ER in Missouri. 12 hour waits and inhumane care

Customer service is really bad, it takes forever to speak with someone real. Email them and they will contact you within 48 hours.

Based on her mental health, they decided to hospitalize her. I thought that was a wise choice at the time. Boy were we wrong. As my father left, he saw hospital workers loading my mom in a van to take her to a secure mental health facility. His understanding was that she would be at the main hospital. Due to COVID, no one could see her ... read more

My mother was In this hospital with two infections. In 1 week they didn’t change her bedsheets once nor give her a bath. I found out and called twice to complain and someone finally did give her bath and change the sheets. The care at this hospital has gone so far down my mother refuses to be taken there ever again. It’s very sad what hospital care has become. The nurses even complained to my mother that it’s terrible working there. Very sad
