I booked a Gel X manicure for $60 (was later charged $75 + tip but was desperate to leave so i just paid) and upon arrival everything seemed fine. I've never gotten gel, acrylic, or any kind of nail extension done before and was unfamiliar with the process for the most part. I’ve been going to Matte for years and have never been charged like this. Being asked to pay $10 to fix a broken nail—just because it wasn’t originally done there—is disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience makes me not want to return. If I’m being charged that much, I expect the repair to be done properly, especially when the nail was barely filed and the design wasn’t done correctly.
