I've been with MV for 30 yrs. They're excellent at a reasonable fee. The Drs. Are polite, knowledge, and professional. The front desk depending on who it is. They can be wonderful or depressed or angry. I recommend MV without hesitation.

I went to Mattatuck Animal Hospital for a second opinion on a service that the Cheshire Animal Hospital wanted to do on my Toy Pomerian of which The Cheshire Vet only seemed as if it were all about the money. The vet was not my usual ordinary vet and when I asked about her and told them I wanted her they kept saying she was not available at that time. Normally I would write wonderful reviews as I had a good experience in the past. This has changed. Today I called to schedule my dog for an Xray as per the doctors advise. On my last visit with the vet he indicated my dog could still have stones if she continued with her issues. He said after my last visit "Not now, but when you are financially able to, bring her in for an xray". Yesterday my dog began the same problem and urinating blood.
