They sold me a brand new Lance camper that leaked badly. They also put air bags on my truck and ran one of the air lines next to the exhaust wh8ch melted it, I had to have it repaired on my own dime, they did not reimburse me. Neither Mattis or Lance would stand behind their products. Unscrupulous in business.
This place is as shady as they come. IF you are brave enough to do business with them, new or used, absolutely, 100% insist on an independent inspection. I'd have them pay for it also. Good luck!
Spoke with Andy to get the vin for an RV to finalize a loan to purchase an RV from them. Told him we would be down on Saturday to complete all the paperwork on the RV and when we went down to do that they had already sold the RV. Not a very good way to run a business. We will be going somewhere else to buy our RV now.
RUN FAST AND FAR AWAY! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! I don't suggest buying anything from these guys. We had a horrible experience at Mattas. First, we got bait and switched (we should have know to run then, but we didn't). Their service advisor didn't want to help us with warranty issues, so we ended up going somewhere else to get it done. Their sales guy is either dishonest, or doesn't know his product. Either way, I suggest steering clear of Mattas. They're all nice people, just don't do business with them.
The worst experience, my husband and I were going with the intention of buying a camper and the salesman behaved horribly with us, if we asked him something he would get upset and answer angrily, he showed us 3 campers and we were interested in one that we were going to pay cash for we asked him if he had a certain type of deal or if we can negotiate the price and he answered us again angrily he said no.
