I know that the market is crazy right now, but from the first meeting with the Mattamy Homes sales team, everything went downhill. Mattamy is the worst home building company my husband and I have EVER had to deal with! If we could change it all over again, we would have gone with another Lennar home. Mattamy severely cuts corners, has no quality control, runs their superintendents to death (we had four different ones because they kept leaving) and contract out the ultimate lowest bidder for HVAC (constantly having issues with our HVAC system and right after our year warranty was up, we had to pay to have the blower motor replaced. Bad and rude realtor agent YOLANDA Burney who is there in Charlotte New constructions. She is not ready to show model house where another representative showing polite to customers.
We have a new house built by Mattamy homes and have been in it 8 months. The quality of their materials and workmanship is very poor and the homes are overpriced considering they do not come with much and you have to upgrade most things that many builders include. The wood used for framing of the house was in poor condition and the concrete slab has numerous cracked areas a few weeks into it. I wouldn't recommend this company to build your next home, the materials used are terrible and our new house and many others in the community are cracking terribly. Tiles are cracking and that's not covered, the wood used for framing was in poor condition, the new slab was cracked in many places and now the house is settling. We are on our 3rd service rep who makes appointments to get thing fixed and no one shows up. Very frustrating
