I am a Very Angry homeowner in (Wells Creek. Mattamy Homes) my husband and I purchased a home in September 2019. One of the very important factors for us purchasing a house is that it MUST have a pool. If I could leave negative stars, I would. We love the look of our home, it's comfortable, most of the people I have dealt with have been very nice. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT SAFE!!! Our home is just over a year old, and we had an electrical fire due to the cheap, ill advised materials used. In some states, you are not even allowed to use the material. We are outside the 1 year warranty, and they will not assist at all in the repair, or getting a wiring diagram with an itemized list of materials used and where. They do not get... read more
I wish we had looked at reviews before putting our life savings and trust into this organization to build us a safe and well-constructed home. We put a down payment on a new build in July 2019. We were told it would be done by Jan/Feb of 2020 and be of the utmost in quality. We were delayed 4 times. I've read through these reviews and am very shocked. My husband and I moved into our new Mattamy home about a month ago and were beyond impressed by the entire process. We purchased in Magnolia Walk in Huntersville NC. From day one, Hallie in the office was nice, helpful, patient and very personable. My husband, myself and even our realtor were impressed with her knowledge and helpfulness, as well as her follow up - we received a card, a call to check in after we moved in and a nice gift.
