Honestly, I was in a rough spot when I found this place. Like, rock-bottom rough. I didn’t expect much when I called, just needed something. But these folks? They actually cared. No judging, no cold voices—just real people who got it.From the first call to the detox process, it felt like I finally had someone in my corner. The help was solid, the support was non-stop, and I left there feeling like I had a real shot.
MHS Recovery brought me back when I didn’t think I had much left to fight with. Their team had this steady, no-drama way of guiding me — firm when I needed it, but always rooted in care. I never felt like I was being pushed — more like I was being walked alongside.They focused on building me up, not just drying me out. From detox to counseling, every step felt intentional and full of quiet strength. I left MHS with my head clearer, my heart steadier, and the belief that I could finally build a life beyond addiction.
I have no intention what so ever of getting clean from heroin. This place gave me stability, routine and support. You get what you put in! If you want to help quitting substances, go to a detox and then come and stay here! They will help you every step along the way!
This place is a complete dump. Very poor living conditions. Not only unsanitary, also unsafe and uncaring. Staff is unprofessional, unkind, uncaring , ghetto and thoughtless. If you go here for help you will either wind up relapsing or dying from an overdose. This place needs to be shut down. Excellent recovery house. The people that run this place genuinely care about you and your recovery. Only a few people can stay here at a time and it's individual approach at recovery works. I wish the best of luck to anyone new to their programs.
