So glad I don't live near you restaurant! This is just sad that a place of business doesn't even know the laws regarding breastfeeding in public. Ridiculous!
I refuse to support a business that is rude and disrespectful to a mother nursing her child. Not only was this rude and disrespectful but it is also against the law in Michigan. Gov. Rick Snyder passed a law that ensures women have the right to breastfeed uncovered in public. Further bills go on to specify that a breastfeeding mother in not guilty of indecent exposure or obscene conduct. Breastfeeding is natural and has many proven benefits. There is nothing sexual about it. In fact, that is the purpose of breast.

I can't believe you would discriminate against a breastfeeding mother! Do you know there are laws against that? As a restaurant manager I'm completely appauled at your employees actions! If that ever occurred in my restaurant the employee and manager would be suspended on a pending termination! Wow! This is what is wrong with America now days. I cant believe a mother gets put down for feeding her young the natural way...
Shameful! Telling a nursing mother that you will not serve her! That is not a way to show a new nursing parent that the way she's feeding her child is the best! Your employees should make sure she is comfortable! I hope that when your mother fed all of you she sure didn't have to hide in embarrassment and be discrete about giving her baby food... Your practice of demanding that a mother breast feeding her baby leave your restaurant is completely inexcusable. I'm sure you would have preferred the baby eat off the menu, but here's a newsflash, they survive on breastmilk. In nature it's found in breasts and has to be consumed by the mouth of the child. Osmosis has been found to be ineffective. However, it's a shame the owner's mother didn't try that method. Your business is misogynistic, unsympathetic, and hateful. You eat when you're hungry, a baby does too.
Discriminating against a breastfeeding mother isn't just ILLEGAL, it's downright despicable!! I wouldn't spend my money here if it was the last place on earth!! If my baby can't eat here, neither will I!!
