Matrix for the win! They exceeded my expectations with a planned laundry remodel and an unexpected burst pipe in the slab of my bathroom. We hired Matrix Construction to gut our bathroom to the studs and do a complete remodel. Our bathroom is relatively small (5’x10’). We were told it would take approximately 7 to 10 working days to complete. Matrix started the project the first week of April. They “finished” on June 27. It was a disaster from start to finish. They are the most unprofessional and incompetent people we have ever dealt with. Nothing was done right in our bathroom. They didn’t install our vanity cabinets correctly. We didn't make the hole in the concrete slab for the shower drain big enough... which upset Eddy as "that would delay his next job". He said he would have to charge us an extra $380 to enlarge it which sounded like A LOT. It took him exactly 15mns!! That's $1.520/hour!! Wow!! Really??!! Even lawyers don't charge half that amount/hour!! Felt totally ripped off!! SO aggravating!! we have hired matrix for several projects and they are great! occasionally a small issue but they are quick to fix it!
I can't say enough good things about this company! There has been a project I've wanted done in the house since I got it 15 years ago but have always been nervous it wasn't possible and/or was gonna cost too much. Eddy came by to look at the scope of work and give me an estimate. I had a number in my head that I would be comfortable with and the estimate was lower than that.
