I have been going to Matiz for a few years for hair color and highlights, but wanted to transition more towards my natural salt and pepper hair color. Ernesto made the process easy and the amount of compliments I have received after his brilliant work makes it all worth it. Pricing was very reasonable for the time involved. Excellent salon, would recommend to everyone, especially if you want colour blending, beautiful tones and top salon professional work.
I’m really disappointed with my experience. I asked for a blonde balayage with some of my light brown/dark blonde roots left on top. Instead, my hair turned out mostly brown with barely any blonde, which is not what I requested. I expressed that the hair was too dark and not the result I was looking for, but nothing was done to address the issue or offer a solution. I ended up paying a lot of money for a result I didn’t want. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this salon.
I am super pleased with my hair style! Damian did an amazing job on me today! the colour he applied was exactly the one I that I wanted. Everyone at this salon is professional and nice. Matiz H Hair Experience has the best stylists in GTA. Super recommended. Thanks!!
Ernesto did fantastic job colouring my baby thin, soft hair. He used custom technique to avoid any damage. I went from dark brown to coper blonde and somehow my hair feels and look fuller. Will come back. Highly recommend
