My son started going to Mathnasium in Lake Highlands at the beginning of the last school year. He had fallen behind in math in second grade and I wanted him to be ready for the STAAR test in third grade. He did an assessment and started going to Mathnasium twice a week. My daughter has been doing sessions at Mathnasium for 6 months now. Not only has she mastered some previous problem areas, but she is more confident in her mathematical abilities overall. We started with a two week trial, and after the first session she told me she loved it and wanted to continue going past the two weeks. A huge win! All of the instructors are very personable, patient, and communicative. They make math fun in a supportive atmosphere.

Mathnasium has been a wonderful enrichment addition for our 5- and 7-year-old boys. They look forward to math each week and leave feeling accomplished and excited (and I’m thrilled because they are finally being challenged). The kids have enjoyed all of the tutors they’ve worked with, and Robert is just great and very communicative and helpful at addressing scheduling conflicts. Mathnasium did a fantastic job helping provide some intervention for my daughter. She is always happy to go and her teacher notices the difference. Mr. Bao and Mr: Garrett were great with her.

Mathnasium has advanced my son’s understanding of algebra and prepared him to skip a level of math. It’s also ideally located between local business that serve delicious pizza, beer, and popcorn. And I like pizza, beer, and popcorn.
