I really liked dr Saffarian and I did not wait long at all. Everything went very smooth
Less than a week ago I was in your office to have a ganglion cyst aspirated by guided ultrasound. You said there was no cyst there... There was nothing to aspirate. You said that ultrasounds are as accurate as MRIS. The MRI done today May 2026 says that both cysts are still there. Was not honest. Did not keep his word. Did not provide or show ultrasound pictures to back up his opinion. Was not even doing the ultrasound in the right area. Asked the assistant if that was the right area. My review with Dr. Mathew Saffarian, I have had a great experience with doc. He is very cool and likeable. He comes across as a family guy, reminds me of my brother. He explains in detail medical issues and solutions. I like how the visits have been in and out. I've had to bring my 11 year old in with me at one time. He is great with the kids. I noticed how he mentioned and encouraged my son things about being a doctor. So he is very welcoming. As for my issue it's probably not major as some of these reviews. But it's a prob... read more
I went in with severe pain in my psoas muscle and tendons around my hip and pain and atrophy in my thigh. Dr Saffarian insisted it was my hip, despite xray and mri not indicating that. Tried steroid injection in hip which made my pain worse. Tried lidocaine injection with confusing response. Each time I had an exam, he whipped my leg around and I later discovered (from PT who listened) that the movements that did not hurt were testing the hip.
