The company is unprofessional, unaccountable, and unethical. Avoid at all costs. Our experience with Mather Real Estate was deeply disappointing from start to finish. After three years as tenants, they withheld $240 from our security deposit without justification, claiming we failed to vacate on time, even though we left on September 30, 2025, exactly as paid and agreed. This company is unprofessional and illegitimate. We rented a commercial space from them for two years and the moment we gave notice they became impossible to deal with. They tried to extend the lease, played games with the rent balance, claimed they sent notice (never did), and provided an unrealistic move out window. There are construction companies and vacant space all over town, not worth dealing with a company that chooses to do business this way.
