I delivered my baby here. Friendly staff, felt like heaven. Nurses are Awesome, Available all the time, takes care of us like babies.
Just had a baby boy at rwj somerset , and on the postpartum unit our baby had a nurse named Joyce. She was amazing! I wish there were more nurses like her. She was so patient with our little guy, paid attention and followed what we wanted for him! She went over and beyond and we are incredibly grateful for her! I hope anyone who delivers here, gets to have a chance with nurse Joyce!
I had the best experience at RWJ Somerset! I had to have an emergency c section at 36 weeks and my daughter was put in the nicu and stayed there for a week. No one ever prepares you to go home without your child, but the staff- nurses, doctors, admin, etc in the maternity pavilion were nothing less than absolutely amazing. While I was still in the hospital, my nurses were constantly on top of my preeclampsia, doing their checks and making sure I was ok. The fetal medicine department has horrible service!!!!! The receptionists and staff don’t care. They don’t ever pickup there phones and if they do, they will put you on hold and either don’t pick back up or they toss you to different departments till you get frustrated and stop trying. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I’ve been going to them since my 25th week and it was a nightmare to get an initial appt. And every-time I call to make one, as instructed to.
