I went to Washing Hospital ER last summer because I had a miscarriage. I was admitted and the ER doctor came to check on me. Since I was having a miscarriage I needed to stay until my bleeding stopped. After several hours in the ER my bleeding wouldn't stop, so I needed an emergency surgery. I waited and waited and nothing. I called the nurse and asked why it was so taking so long. The one time I spent at this hospital I was actually surprised at the quality of treatment and care I received.I was 7 months pregnant and had been the victim of a hit and run accident.The staff, particularly the nurses who care for me and my unborn child were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring.I spent a full week there and despite having never known of the hospital prior to that time my visit to the emergency and OB departments was pleasant and I was thankful.
